1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RenderStack ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RenderStack is an email testing platform that provides:

  • Email rendering previews across multiple email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail)
  • AI-powered compatibility analysis and linting of HTML email code
  • Content validation and accessibility checks

3. AI Processing Disclosure

RenderStack uses artificial intelligence to analyze your email HTML code for compatibility issues. By using our Service:

  • You acknowledge that your email content will be processed by AI systems
  • AI analysis results are provided for informational purposes and should not be considered exhaustive
  • We do not use your email content to train AI models
  • AI-generated suggestions may not cover all edge cases or specific client versions

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk email through our Service
  • Test emails containing illegal, harmful, or objectionable content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access unauthorized features
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service to develop competing products or services
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account

5. Account and Billing

Free Tier: Users receive 10 tests per month at no charge. Unused tests do not roll over.

Paid Plans: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of the billing period.

Refunds: We offer refunds for unused portions of annual subscriptions within 30 days of purchase. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable.

6. Data Retention

Test Data: Email test results and screenshots are retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted.

Account Data: Account information is retained until you delete your account.

Anonymous Tests: Tests submitted without an account are deleted after 24 hours.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your email content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

RenderStack, its logo, and related marks are trademarks of RenderStack. You may not use these marks without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RenderStack shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Errors in rendering previews or AI analysis results
  • Email delivery issues or compatibility problems not identified by our analysis

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RenderStack from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
